WALT:we are learning to write to describe how nga atua maori relates to us.

This term,Huia whanau have been talking about maori gods. The first thing we did was a bus stop activity to find out what we already knew.We the read the creation story and retold it in our own creative  way.My freind Mania and i made a movie. We did a colabrative class art identifying six different gods :Rongo-ma-tane ,Maui, Ruamoko, Tumatauenga, Tawhirimatea and Tangaroa.WE had to work together to figure out different coulor codes for our different atua. Then on Wednesday/Raapa in maori we did a waiata with actions  and explained there different emotions . Then at Kupa Haka we did weaving of the maori gods. Wich maori god are you?Are you learning about Maori gods in your class?

Respect means to have politeness and kindness in my opinion.People have respect in the playground and in the class room.children often  have respect for there elders and fellow kids.Respect is were you treat someone or something with care and kindness.E.G Chrome books people don't hold them open and walk around and they hold it/them with two hands  and move around. Some ways to show respect is to say please, thank you ,No thank you ,Yes please and your welcome another way is to listen and face the person speaking .
